We are here to make sure that the Harbour is a safe place to boat in. There is a NO Wake Zone inside the harbour limits in which we ask that everyone abide by. If there are any concerns that should be looked at please feel free to contact us and we will try to help. |

We help promote Francois and surrounding areas by organizing hikes and walking grounds for tourist. We are the contacts for any Cruise Ships that enter our harbour. When a Cruise Ship comes to Francois we often have refreshments and music playing in the Community Center and we open our museum to the passengers and crew members. If a Cruise Ship comes in for the night or leaves at 12:00 O' clock A.M. a dance is held at the Community Center as well. We try and promote our beautiful harbour in any way possible. |

The members of the committee are responsible for holding meetings and making sure that all fire equipment is in working order. They are on call just in case a fire should break out.

To make sure the Community Centre is prepared for Francois Day. Francois Day is held every year and takes place on the third Friday and Saturday in August. Friday is kids day which is filled with games and races for children of all ages. Saturday there are carnival games, Dunk the Dummy, Dory Races, Duck Race, and Poker Walk. The Carnival Games are for persons of all ages and the others are for mainly adults. A Barbeque Supper is held Saturday evening and a dance is held at around 10:00pm. |

We are here to make sure the CAP Site is running properly. We aim to teach people that visit the CAP Site by holding weekly training sessions and by opening the internet to the public. We also make sure that all equipment is running and is good working condition. |

The Francois Fishermen Committee Inc. was Incorporated on May 30, 2001 our corporate number is 44869. Its Responsibilities are to operate the Bait cooler at the shed, and also to maintain the buildings up keep. The Fishermen's committee charges every fisher person $10 per month, this covers the cost of the utilities. The Committee also rents some of the space to Sea Crest Inc. |

Our responsibilities are to make sure that the school is running properly and to make sure the money in the budget is properly spent in accordance to the school and students needs. Any problems can be brought to the committees attention at the meeting and we will try to solve it for you. |
